Mundaka surf to live
The history of the best and most famous wave in Europe, is closely linked to the arrival of foreign surfers to Mundaka, some of whom stayed to live forever. This is the case of Craig Sage, Australian surfer based in the fishing village since the early eighties.
From his own perspective, Craig offers a historical review of what surfing means in Mundaka, its seafaring tradition, the influence of foreigners since the Middle Ages, the key figures of its past and present, and everything that surrounds the preservation of the sandbar and its environment within the Urdaibai reserve.
